Hysteroscopy is the part of main diagnostic instrumentation of a gynecologist which allows performing any intravaginal and intra uterine diagnoses & surgical treatments, in office or in operating room. From the knowledge of the technique it is possible to carry out diagnosis & perform treatment at the same time- "SEE & TREAT" Modality.
Technique
Patient in dorco-lithotomy position
2.9 mm Hysteroscope inserted into vageniat to perform vaginescopy
Shape, distension, morphology of vaginal walls are determined
Direction of endocervical canal is determined & hysteroscope is introduced in 30 degree fore oblique view until the cavity is entered
Panoramic view of cavity , Both Ostia & feendus is observed by rotating the scope clockwise & Anticlockwise 90 degree and anterior & posterior walls by rotating the scope
